Ukraine's Cabinet appoints new head of State Service for Geodesy, Cartography, Cadastre

Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Denys Bashlyk as chairman of the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre.

The Cabinet's press service announced the appointment after a government meeting on November 20.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Cabinet on September 9 dismissed Liudmyla Shemelynets from the post of head of Ukraine's Service for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre. A competition to select a new head was announced on October 4.

UNIAN memo. Denys Bashlyk was Director of the Department for International Cooperation and Land Market at the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre. He had held the post since 2017. Prior to that, he had worked as a chief specialist at the said department.

Bashlyk graduated from the Institute of International Relations at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, majoring in international relations.
