The deputy faction chief says this depends on when the relevant committee will finish considering all amendments.
First Deputy Chairman of the Servant of the People faction, Oleksandr Kornienko, predicts the adoption of a law on the land market as early as December.
Asked by Novoye Vremya, when the bill on the land market will be voted, Kornienko answered: "Depending on when the committee works out all the amendments. It can be either December 2, or December 16. There is such a plan. We'll see."
Asked when a referendum on the land market could be held, he noted that a package of laws on people's rule should first be adopted. "Therefore, it's approximately January-February of next year. Then we'll schedule it," Kornienko added.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on November 13, the Verkhovna Rada adopted at first reading draft law "On Amending Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Concerning Farmland Turnover", which introduces the land market in Ukraine from October 1, 2020.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky assured that citizens of other states and foreign companies will be entitled to buy Ukrainian land only if the Ukrainian people consent to this in a referendum.
