Hryvnia updates four-year maximum at UAH 23.98 per U.S. dollar set for Nov 27

The previous four-year high rate was set just yesterday, November 26.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) set the official forex rate of the hryvnia against the U.S. dollar for Wednesday, November 27, at UAH 23.98 per U.S. dollar, which was the maximum indicator since January 2016, or almost in four years.

The previous four-year high was set on November 26, when the official forex rate of the hryvnia against the U.S. dollar was UAH 24.05, according to the NBU website.

The official forex rate against the euro for Wednesday is UAH 26.43 per euro.

As UNIAN reported earlier, trade on Ukraine's interbank forex market on Tuesday, November 26, closed at UAH 23.98/24.00 per U.S. dollar, while the hryvnia quotations to the euro were at UAH 26.40/26.43.

Ukraine's national currency, the hryvnia, in October 2019 weakened by 2.6% against the U.S. dollar, to UAH 24.82 at the official rate of the National Bank, but remained above the rate reported at the beginning of the year by 10.4%.
