Hryvnia updates four-year maximum at UAH 23.97 per U.S. dollar set for Dec 2

The previous four-year highs were set within one week: at UAH 24.05 per U.S. dollar on November 26 and at UAH 23.98 on November 27-28.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) set the official forex rate of the hryvnia against the U.S. dollar for Monday, December 2, at UAH 23.97 per U.S. dollar, which was the maximum indicator since January 2016, or almost in four years.

The previous four-year highs were set within one week: at UAH 24.05 per U.S. dollar on November 26 and at UAH 23.98 on November 27-28, according to the NBU website.

The official forex rate against the euro for Monday is UAH 26.45 per euro.

Trade on Ukraine's interbank forex market on Friday, November 29, closed at UAH 23.97/23.99 per U.S. dollar, while the hryvnia quotations to the euro were at UAH 26.36/26.39.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the National Bank on Thursday evening set the official forex rate at UAH 24.04 to the dollar for Friday, November 29, which made the country's national currency weaker by six kopiykas.
