Hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market on Thursday strengthened to UAH 20.47/20.56 to the dollar by the middle of the trading day, compared to UAH 20.65 at the close of trade on Wednesday, a broker at a commercial bank has told an UNIAN correspondent.
Hryvnia quotes against the euro have settled at UAH 23.37/23.51, while against the Russian ruble they have settled at UAH 0.4110/0.4140.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 1330 was UAH 20.5910 to the dollar, with 223 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $86.66 million.
