Naftogaz pays US$4.1 bln in taxes, dividends in Jan-Nov

Revenues from Naftogaz Group accounted for nearly 14% of total national budget revenue over the period under review.

National Joint-Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine in January-November 2019 paid to the national and local budgets nearly UAH 96.8 billion (US$4.1 billion) in taxes and dividends.

"Naftogaz Group paid UAH 96.8 billion in taxes and dividends to the state and local budgets in the 11 months of 2019," the company said in a statement on December 12.

Revenue from Naftogaz Group accounted for nearly 14% of total national budget revenue in January-November 2019, the report reads.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Naftogaz in 2018 paid UAH 137.8 billion (US$5.8 billion) in taxes and dividends, which was almost a third more than in 2017.

The corresponding sum Naftogaz paid in 2017 was over UAH 107.3 billion (US$4.6 billion).

Naftogaz develops oil and gas fields, produces crude oil and natural gas. Its core business is also transportation and trade in fuel through its own network of filling stations.
