Hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market on Tuesday strengthened to UAH 21.07/21.45 to the dollar by the middle of trade, compared to UAH 22.00/22.35 at the close of trade on Monday, a broker at a commercial bank has told an UNIAN correspondent.
Hryvnia quotes against the euro have settled at UAH 23.64/24.14, while against the Russian ruble they have settled at UAH 0.4290/0.4390.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 1200 was UAH 21.2495 to the dollar, with 27 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $26.12 million.
