The National Bank of Ukraine on Wednesday evening strengthened the official hryvnia exchange rate by 44 kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 20.81 to the dollar.
On May 21, the central bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies:
$100 – UAH 2,081.2662 (on May 20 it was UAH 2,125.2580);
EUR 100 – UAH 2,313.9518 (on May 20 it was UAH 2,376.0384);
10 Russian rubles – UAH 4.1799 (on May 20 it was UAH 4.3216).
