The National Bank of Ukraine on Thursday evening strengthened the official hryvnia exchange rate by 14 kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 20.67 to the dollar.
On May 22, the central bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies:
$100 – UAH 2,067.8827 (on May 21 it was UAH 2,081.2662);
EUR 100 – UAH 2,302.1738 (on May 21 it was UAH 2,313.9518);
10 Russian rubles – UAH 4.1424 (on May 21 it was UAH 4.1799).
As UNIAN reported earlier, on May 21, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trading strengthened to UAH 20.55/20.75 to the dollar.
