Ukraine's state and government-guaranteed debt grew by 5.8%, or US$4.5 billion, in January-November of 2019, to $82.8 billion in the U.S. dollar equivalent.

The country's debt in the hryvnia equivalent shrank by 8.2%, or $177.7 billion, to UAH 1.991 trillion, Ukraine's Finance Ministry said on its website.
State debt in November 2019 alone rose by 1.2% in the dollar equivalent, whereas it shrank by 2.7% in the hryvnia equivalent.
UNIAN memo. Ukraine's state and government-guaranteed debt in 2018 rose by 2.6%, or $2.02 billion, to $78.32 billion in the U.S. dollar equivalent.
The debt in the hryvnia equivalent increased by 1.3%, or UAH 26.94 billion, to UAH 2.169 trillion last year.
Ukraine's debt-to-GDP ratio decreased to 62.7% in 2018 from 71.8% in 2017.
