Parliament speaker Razumkov: Farmland bill not yet on agenda of plenary session

A bill to amend the Verkhovna Rada's rules and regulations may be considered in its first reading this week.

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, Dmytro Razumkov has said the bill on the farmland market has not yet been included in the agenda of the plenary session.

"As of today, the bill is not on the agenda. But we are going to consider all the [draft] laws that are on the agenda of the session. We have time for this," he said at a briefing on January 13, answering a question when the farmland bill would be tabled in parliament.

When asked whether the bill could be included in the agenda during the current week, the official answered that "it is not there as of today."

At the same time, Razumkov has said a bill to amend the Verkhovna Rada's rules and regulations may be considered in its first reading this week.
