The ministry sets the target to reduce unemployment rate by 2024 to the average European level of 5%.
Ukrainian Minister for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture Tymofiy Mylovanov says he is confident the ministry's plan to create 1 million new jobs in Ukraine by 2024 will be implemented in full.
"We have a plan [to create] one million new jobs. We promised [to reach the target] before 2024, and we will fulfill it," he said amid the discussion of the bill on labor January 14.

Mylovanov added that the ministry had set a goal to reduce the job search term to two months by 2024, as well as bring down unemployment to the average European level of 5%.
