"The due date for the payment of the invoice for November 2019 has come. The airline company has been informed of the need to make an urgent payment. If it fails to pay the invoice for air navigation services, UkSATSE will have to use the procedure provided by the current legislation," the Ukrainian online newspaper Ukrayinska Pravda said on January 15, referring to UkSATSE's press service.

The invoice for services rendered in December 2019 will be forwarded to Ernest Airlines before February 13, 2020, it said.

"UkSATSE insists that the terms of the contract and payment of bills for the rendered air navigation services be fulfilled on time," the press service added.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ernest Airlines suspended its flights on January 11 over the termination of the relevant license.

Prior to that, the company had announced it would cease selling tickets from January 13, 2020.
