The share of respondents expecting the rate in the next 12 months to stay within UAH 27 to the dollar has increased to 44% from 32% in the previous quarter.
Ukrainian businesses have improved expectations regarding the average foreign exchange rate of the Ukrainian hryvnia to the dollar in 12 months to UAH 27.43 from UAH 27.96 in the previous quarter.
The share of respondents expecting the rate in the next 12 months to stay within UAH 27 to the dollar has increased to 44% from 32% in the previous quarter, according to a report by the National Bank of Ukraine with reference to a quarterly survey conducted from November 4 to December 3 among heads of 697 enterprises in 22 regions of Ukraine,
At the same time, 18% of respondents believe the exchange rate will not exceed UAH 26 to the dollar.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine's national currency in 2019 strengthened against the U.S. dollar by 14.5% to UAH 23.69 and against the euro by 16.7%, to UAH 26.42.
The NBU on Thursday evening set the hryvnia forex rate for January 17 at UAH 24.09 to the U.S. dollar. The official forex rate against the euro is fixed at UAH 26.90 per euro.
The state budget of Ukraine for 2020 is based on the forecast rate of the hryvnia to the dollar at UAH 27 by the end of the year.
