Ukraine is in 89th place in the world rankings of investment attractiveness, between the Philippines and the Maldives, and 11 places higher than Russia, according to the BDO International Business Compass rating of the Hamburg Institute of International Economics, Ukrainian newspaper Europeiska Pravda reported on Friday.
The ranking includes 174 countries. Switzerland is the leader with an index of 81.88 points. Singapore (81.03) and Hong Kong (80.17) are next.
The top ten also includes Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, Britain and Sweden.
The index of Ukraine is 50.57 points – putting it 20 up in the ranking compared to the previous year.
Russia is in 100th place, Belarus 85th and Moldova 87th.
