The country maintains a course toward European integration, the prime minister says.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk has announced the Cabinet's plans to integrate the domestic energy grid into the pan-European one before 2023.
"We are maintaining our course toward European integration. We will strive to synchronize our rules and regulations with those of our European colleagues as much as possible. Of course, we also have strategic projects. For example, we plan to integrate our energy grid into the European one before 2023 to become part of the Digital Single Market [the strategy aimed to open up digital opportunities for people and businesses and enhance Europe's position as a world leader in digital economy]," Honcharuk said at a Ukrainian breakfast event at the World Economic Forum in Davos on January 23.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Ukrainian new government had planned that the country would join the European Energy Market in 2025.
