Representatives of Ukraine's Defense Ministry and the Directorate of Defense Industry of Turkey have signed an intergovernmental protocol on further steps to implement joint projects in the field of armaments and military hardware.
The document was signed at a meeting of the Joint Ukrainian-Turkish commission on defense-industrial cooperation, which was hosted by the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, its press service said in a statement.

During the meeting, the parties outlined priority tasks for 2020, with the aim of establishing effective cooperation between enterprises of the defense industry of Ukraine and Turkey.
Also, during the visit, Turkish delegates visited the state-run enterprise Luch and state-owned Artem Holding. They also held negotiations with top managers of Ukraine's state-run Concern Ukroboronprom.
