An official statement by Deutsche Bahn, available to Ukraine's Center for Transport Strategies (CTS), further details of cooperation with Ukrzaliznysia railway operator, including participation in operational management, are being discussed at the moment.
Moreover, DB Engineering & Consulting which offers technically sophisticated and customized infrastructure, mobility and transport solutions will consult and support Ukrzaliznytsia on management and technical issues. The relevant memorandum of understanding was signed at the World Economic Forum in Davos on January 22.

In early February 2020, DB Board Member for Infrastructure Ronald Pofalla and representatives of the Ukrainian government will sign a memorandum of understanding with regard to further details of cooperation.
