Ukrainian gas stocks shrink to 17.24 bcm since Nov 2

As of January 25, 2020, gas reserves in the country's USFs were 49.1% up from the figure reported as of January 25, 2019.

Natural gas stocks in Ukraine's underground storage facilities (USFs) have shrunk by 20.7%, to 17.24 billion cubic meters (bcm) since November 2, when Ukraine started pumping out gas from its reserves amid the heating season.

As of January 25, 2020, gas reserves in the country's USFs stood at 17.24 bcm, which was 49.1% up from 11.56 bcm as of January 25, 2019, the state-run gas transport system operator Ukrtransgaz said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine on November 2 stopped injecting gas into the underground storage facilities and began pumping it out for the 2019-2020 heating season.

By the start of the heating season, Ukraine had accumulated 21.76 bcm of gas in its underground storage facilities against 17.2 bcm year-on-year.
