The Ukrainian Ekonomichna Pravda news outlet, in turn, cited its source at the Cabinet, which says that Ukrzaliznytsia Board member Željko Marček might be appointed acting Chairman of the Management Board.

As was earlier reported, Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Vladyslav Kryklii on January 27 said Ukrzaliznytsia's Supervisory Board would consider the dismissal of Kravtsov within a few weeks.

Kravtsov had been working for the company since January 2015 as an adviser to CEO and then as director for reform, legal and property policy. On October 7, 2015, he joined the first composition of Ukrzaliznytsia's Supervisory Board pursuant to a Cabinet resolution.

On January 10, 2019, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Kravtsov Chairman of the Management Board of Ukrzaliznytsia. Prior to that, he worked as acting Chairman. His contract expires in 2021.

On December 3, 2019, the infrastructure minister said the Supervisory Board would consider the dismissal of Kravtsov the following week.

At the same time, Kravtsov warned that such strategic state enterprises as Ukrzaliznytsia and NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine should not be dependent on political sentiments and decisions that "change every hour."

On December 30, 2019, Kravtsov announced he terminates his contract with Ukrzaliznytsia as he was set to move to the public sector.
