"The funding of projects since the beginning of the year is estimated at $50 million," the source told.

The amount of the financing will be higher in the second half of the year because, as a rule, most of investment projects are implemented in in the latter half of the year, the source added.

The EBRD is ready to support Ukraine and continue to finance investment projects in the country if it continues conducting reforms, according to Paul Vlaanderen, the EBRD Board Representative for the Netherlands, Mongolia, FYR Macedonia and Armenia, who was among an EBRD Board delegation paying a five-day visit to Ukraine on June 1-5, 2015.

The EBRD is the largest international financial investor in Ukraine. As of May 1, 2015 it had a total cumulative commitment of EUR 10.94 billion in 343 projects in the country.
