A court has arrested 46 property items of OSTCHEM group of companies owned by Dmytro Firtash, according to the statement published on Facebook page of Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov.
"While continuing to secure state interests, the investigation revealed information about real estate and land plots owned by OSTCHEM group of companie,” the minister wrote.
“As of now, we have submitted 110 applications to the court for seizure of real estate. Precautionary measures have been imposed with regard to 46 property items in aid of execution of the claims."
Avakov drew attention to the investigative proceedings against Firtash’s OSTCHEM group of companies, which was accused of causing losses to the state of UAH 5.742 billion.
"As part of measures to secure state interests, we have previously arrested 499.121 thousand cubic meters of natural gas in storage of Ukrtransgaz and belonging to the OSTCHEM group of companies," the minister said.
