That is stipulated in the concept for the implementation of the government policy to develop socially responsible businesses, approved by the Cabinet on January 24 and published on Ukraine's government portal.

According to the document, the ratio of female-to-male average salaries was 74.9% in 2015. Thus, the government is willing to reduce the gap in due time.

The concept also provides for the growth rates of average nominal monthly salaries in Ukraine up to 500% in 2025 and 800% in 2030.

In addition, it is planned to facilitate foreign direct investment in Ukraine's economy from US$3 billion (in 2015) to US$16 billion in 2025 and further to US$17.5 billion in 2030.

The concept also involves the implementation of measures to protect the environment, ensure employment, as well as develop labor relations and a social responsibility strategy for business entities. The concept is expected to be implemented in two stages: until 2025 and then until 2030.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers on December 27 passed a bill on labor, which is designed to preserve and expand social rights of employees, increase the number of legal jobs, provide equal opportunities for men and women, raise employees' incomes, and streamline Ukrainian legislation in line with the European one.
