Minister Mylovanov forecasts economic growth in 2020 / Photo from UNIAN
The minister predicts the economic growth this year will be higher than it was last year.
Ukraine's Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture forecasts that the growth of the country's gross domestic product (GDP) in 2020 will be 3.7%.
"The National Bank is optimistic – it says it will be 3-3.5% in the first quarter... And it will be 3.5-3.7% for the whole year. We think it will be 3.7%," Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture Tymofiy Mylovanov said on TV.

According to him, the economic growth this year will be higher than it was last year.
"We think this year will be better than 2019, and we will recover," he added.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the country's real GDP in the fourth quarter of 2019 grew by 1.5% year-over-year, having slowed from 4.1% year-over-year in the third quarter of 2019.
