Ukrainian Minister for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture Tymofiy Mylovanov says the ministry plans to reform the Anti-Monopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU).

"The Ukrainian Anti-Monopoly Committee's activities have a direct impact on the economy. Therefore, the reform in the competition sector is relevant," he said on Facebook on February 22.
According to Mylovanov, the reform of the agency is being discussed with representatives of international organizations and Ukrainian lawmakers.
Moreover, issues related to the AMCU reform are expected to be discussed at the 8th Competition Forum in April 2020.
"At the forum, we will focus not only on the reform areas and legislative changes, but also on practical examples of an effective regulator's work related to the life and well-being of every Ukrainian citizen," he added.
