Ukraine's official hryvnia continues weakening, set at UAH 24.53 to U.S. dollar on Feb 26

The official forex rate against the euro for Wednesday is fixed at UAH 26.60 per euro.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on February 25 set the official forex rate for February 26 at UAH 24.53 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency weaken by three kopiykas.

The Central Bank fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for February 26:

US$100 will be traded for UAH 2,453.07 (UAH 2,449.95 as of February 25);

EUR 100 will be traded for UAH 2,660.35 (UAH 2,651.09 as of February 25).

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Ukrainian hryvnia in January 2020 weakened by 5.7% against the U.S. dollar, to UAH 25.03 per U.S. dollar and by 4.7% against the euro, to UAH 27.66 per euro.

In 2019, Ukraine's national currency strengthened by 14.5% against the U.S. dollar, to UAH 23.69 and by 16.7% against the euro, to UAH 26.42.

The hryvnia's historical low against the U.S. dollar was registered at UAH 30.01 in February 2015.
