The leadership of the state defense industry company Ukroboronprom has dismissed Dmytro Kiva as President and General Designer of the state-owned Antonov aircraft builder and appointed Mykhailo Hvozdiev acting head of the company, Director of Information Policy of Ukroboronprom Lukian Selskiy, told an UNIAN correspondent on Monday.
"The decision to dismiss Kiva was taken by Ukroboronprom, because now the concern is the company that manages Antonov. The first working day of Hvozdiev as acting President and General Designer was on Saturday, June 13," Selskiy said.
According to the Web site of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Hvozdiev is an MP from the Bloc of Poroshenko faction and is is 53rd place on its party list.
At the time of his election as acting head of the state-owned enterprise Antonov, he worked as General Director of Trans-Group LLC and General Director of Audi Center Khmelnytskiy Ltd.
