Ukraine is considers the $3 billion worth of Eurobonds it exchanged for a loan from Russia part of the general debt package planned for restructuring, Ukrainian Finance Minister Natalia Jaresko said on Tuesday at the Ukrainian-Swedish business forum.
"We consider Eurobonds exchanged for the Russian loan like the rest of [Ukraine’s] Eurobonds, which are to be restructured," Jaresko said.
"There are no preferences, all documents are equal for us," she said.
According to Jaresko, the main goal of the restructuring is to achieve three key objectives - a level of public debt of no more than 71% of GDP, an improvement in the balance of payments, and a level of no more than 10-12% of GDP as necessary external financing in 2019.
