Deficit of Ukraine's foreign trade in goods, services shrinks by 92.9% Jan – NBU

The deficit of foreign trade in commodities over the period under review halved, to US$131 million.

The deficit of Ukraine's foreign trade in goods and services in January 2020 was estimated at US$6 million, which was 92.9% down year-over-year.

The deficit of foreign trade in commodities over the period under review halved, to US$131 million, while the surplus of foreign trade in services shrank by 33.4%, to US$125 million, according to the website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).

UNIAN memo. The deficit of Ukraine's foreign trade in goods and services in 2019 totaled US$3.633 billion, which was 41.2% down from the deficit reported in 2018, according to State Statistics Service.

At the same time, The deficit of Ukraine's foreign trade in goods and services in 2019 was estimated at US$12.117 billion, which was 7% up year-on-year.
