Natural gas reserves in Ukrainian underground storage facilities (USFs) since the start of the heating season (November 2, 2019) decreased by 27.4%, to 15.8 billion cubic meters, state-owned Ukrtransgaz operator reports.
As of March 8, reserves stood at 15.8 bcm, which is 69.3% more than on the same date in 2019 (9.33 bcm).

As UNIAN reported earlier, on November 2, 2019, Ukraine stopped pumping natural gas into its USFs and switched to a mode of operation that involves taking gas to cover the 2019-2020 heating season demand.
Reserves by that date amounted to 21.76 bcm, while by the start of the previous heating season, they amounted to 17.2 bcm.
