Imports of petroleum products to Ukraine shrink by 10.8%, to almost US$681 mln in Jan-Feb

Ukraine's petroleum products imports in January-February 2020 shrank by 10.8% in monetary terms, to US$680.89 million year-over-year (y-o-y).

In particular, the country imported petroleum products worth US$262.4 million from Russia (38.5% of the cost of petroleum products imports), US$228.5 million from Belarus (33.5%), US$103.3 million from Lithuania (15.1%), and US$86.8 million from other countries, the State Customs Service reported.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine in 2019 cut foreign currency spending on fuel imports by 6.7%, to US$5.315 billion.

In 2018, Ukraine imported petroleum products worth US$5.5 billion, which was 31% up from 2017.
