ATB-Market LLC, one of Ukraine's leading retail trade companies, has introduced new buying rules across its chain today, March 18, having limited sales of goods per customer, which will help avoid grocery shortage amid demand hike caused by hoarders and hype resellers.

"The hype is created not so much by thrifty citizens, but by unscrupulous buyers who then resell essential goods at speculative prices," the press service wrote, according to Informator.

Buying limits on water, beer and beverages in PET bottles were set at 12 units per customer.

"We ask our customers to respect the restrictions set," the press service wrote.

According to ATB-Market there are sufficient stocks of goods its retail stores and distribution hubs to cover demand, while a clear logistic system allows ensuring continuous replenishment of stocks.
