Parliament is yet to pass two bills required as preliminary measures.
Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Yakiv Smolii says the country has practically fulfilled its obligations to launch a new program with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Ukraine's key lender.
"Ukraine has practically fulfilled its obligations. We expect the Verkhovna Rada [Ukraine's parliament] to vote in favor of two [draft] laws that were stipulated as preconditions," he told a briefing on March 20.

According to Smolii, Ukraine also expects to receive support under programs announced by the IMF to support countries that have suffered or are suffering from the coronavirus epidemic.
In addition, the country may receive aid from the World Bank and the European Commission, the official said.
