All establishments operating in Ukraine during quarantine period ordered to install social distancing marks

All institutions and institutions allowed to continue their operations for the period of national quarantine aimed at countering the spread of COVID-19 must set 1.5-meter social distancing marks, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal reports.

That's according to a decision the Cabinet passed at an extraordinary meeting on Monday, March 23.

"All establishments and institutions that continue to operate during the period of restrictive measures aimed at countering the spread of COVID-19 shall establish social distancing marks," Shmyhal wrote on Telegram.

Owners and management together with police must ensure that visitors maintain 1.5 m distance.

As UNIAN reported, on March 11, the Cabinet of Ministers moved to introduce a national quarantine across Ukraine from March 12 to April 3.

As of the morning of March 23, a total of 73 confirmed cases of COVID-19 were recorded, of which 3 were lethal. One recovery was also recorded.
