Banks' income for this period increased by 18%.
Ukraine's working banks in January-February saw UAH 15.877 billion (US$565.8 million) in profit, which is almost twice as much as for the same period last year.
Banks' income for this period increased by 18%, up to UAH 46.223 billion (US$1.6 billion), while expenses by 1%, up to UAH 20.346 billion (US$725 million), as reported on the website of the National Bank of Ukraine.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukrainian working banks completed the second year in a row with record profits, having received a positive financial result at the level of UAH 59.6 billion (US$2.1 billion) at the end of 2019. Compared with 2018, bank profits almost tripled.
