The gradual relaunch of the economy does not mean that other quarantine measures won't be tightened.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said the Cabinet of Ministers intends to start easing quarantine measures in Ukraine in late April if there is a decrease in the dynamics of the coronavirus incidence.
"According to our plan, if there is a decrease in the dynamics of incidence, we will be able to start gradual easing of quarantine measures in late April. This process will take place in several stages," he said in a video message.
According to Shmyhal, people of working age will start going to work again, movement of public transport will be restored simultaneously to "restart the economy" in early May.

"Ukraine cannot afford to stay idle for six months or even two to three months," he said.
Shmyhal emphasized the Cabinet of Ministers did not stop and does not plan to stop commodity circulation, operations of industrial enterprises and critical infrastructure.
At the same time, the prime minister added the gradual relaunch of the economy does not mean that other quarantine measures will not be tightened.
"The government is trying to maintain balance between quarantine measures and preserving the economy. The implementation of this plan depends entirely on the consciousness of each of you. Together, we must respond to today's challenges," he added.
