Ukraine's hryvnia weakens to UAH 27.26 to U.S. dollar on April 10

The official forex rate against the euro for Friday is fixed at UAH 29.64 per euro.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on April 9 set the official forex rate for April 10 at UAH 27.26 to the U.S. dollar, which made the country's national currency, the hryvnia, further weaken by six kopiykas.

The hryvnia became weaker after it had lost 10 kopiykas in value against U.S. dollar on Thursday, April 9, according to the NBU website.

The official forex rate against the euro for Friday is fixed at UAH 29.64 per euro – the hryvnia also lost six kopiykas in value since Thursday.

As UNIAN reported earlier, demand for foreign currency on the interbank forex market on April 8 again slightly exceeded supply after a two-week lull. As a result, the NBU sold US$44.5 million on the forex market, while the hryvnia exchange rate stayed around UAH 27.3 per dollar.
