The amendments will be considered by lawmakers at a special meeting on April 13.
Ukraine has amended the national budget for 2020 with regard to coronavirus-related developments, having increased its deficit and the country's state debt.
In particular, finalized bill No. 3279-d proposes that budget revenue be set at UAH 975.8 billion (US$35.8 billion), which is UAH 3.2 billion (US$117.4 million) more than in the previous wording of the government-prepared bill.
Spending is proposed to be set at UAH 1.266 trillion (US$46.4 billion), which is also UAH 3.2 billion (US$117.4 million) more than in the previous draft.

The budget deficit ceiling will more than triple to UAH 298.4 billion (US$10.95 billion). The government plans to fill the gap due to loans in the amount of UAH 296.7 billion (US$10.88 billion), as well as privatization proceeds in the amount of UAH 500 million (US$18.34 million).
The limit on the country's state debt was raised to UAH 2.387 trillion (US$87.6 billion).
This year, the government does not plan to launch large-scale privatization. Privatization proceeds were reduced by UAH 11.5 billion (US$421.9 million): from UAH 12 billion (US$440.2 million) in the previously approved draft budget, to UAH 500 million (US$18.34 million).
The sum the National Bank of Ukraine plans to transfer to the budget as part of its profit was increased by UAH 2 billion (US$73.4 million) compared to the previous draft, to UAH 42.7 billion (US$1.57 billion).
The Fund set up to counter COVID-19 is proposed to be reduced by UAH 32.4 billion (US$1.19 billion) in comparison with the government's bill, to UAH 64.7 billion (US$2.37 billion).
The money that was previously expected to be funneled into the Fund is now proposed to be split between the two ministries: the Health Ministry, which was additionally given UAH 15.8 billion (US$579.6 million) in additional payments to healthcare workers, and the Social Policy Ministry, which will receive extra UAH 10.6 billion (US$388.8 million) for the payment of pensions and relief aid.
The Finance Ministry may be authorized to conclude agreements on government derivatives through the implementation of excess government borrowings to lower risks associated with a possible rise in spending on government derivatives in the future.
In addition, the draft law proposes rescheduling the deadline for assets declarations for the previous (2019) year by central or local government officials until the last day of the month following the month when the coronavirus quarantine is canceled.
The Verkhovna Rada's budget committee recommends that the bill be adopted as a basis and as a whole.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine's parliament will consider the amendments to the 2020 budget at a special meeting scheduled for April 13.
