Ukrainian steelmakers in January-March 2020 (Q1) saw a reduction in revenue from exports of ferrous metals by 14.8% year-over-year (y-o-y), to US$2.058 billion, with their share in the country's overall exports being 16.79%.

Revenue from metalware exports in Q1 shrank by 16.7% y-o-y, to US$213.8 million, accounting for 1.74% of the country's total exports, according to the State Fiscal Service.
Over the period under review, Ukraine imported ferrous metals worth US$223 million, while metalware imports totaled US$196.5 million.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine slashed revenue from ferrous exports by 12% in 2019, to US$8.74 billion.
