Greece prepared to accept creditors' proposals with amendments

Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has sent a letter to the European Commission, the European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund, saying that Greece is prepared to accept the creditors' terms to put an end to confrontation regarding the current bailout program, according to Bloomberg.

However, the letter lists a number of amendments.

Earlier, it was reported that Athens intended to conclude an agreement with the creditors for a period of two years within the framework of the European Stability Mechanism.

A new financial bailout program should cover all the financial needs of Greece and contain provisions on the restructuring of the Greek debt, the Greek prime minister said.

"Athens remained at the negotiating table," a statement released by Greece's prime minister said.
