Naftogaz pays nearly US$889.6 mln in taxes, dividends in Q1

Revenue from Naftogaz Group accounted for over 13.1% of total national budget revenue in the period under review.

National Joint-Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine in January-March 2020 (Q1) paid to the national budget nearly UAH 24.1 billion (US$889.6 million) in taxes and duties.

"Naftogaz Group paid about UAH 24.1 billion in taxes and duties to the state and local budgets in January-March 2020," the company's press service said on April 15.

Revenue from Naftogaz Group exceeded 13.1% of total state budget revenue in the three months of 2020, the reports said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Naftogaz paid UAH 120.3 billion (US$4.4 billion) in taxes and dividends in 2019.

Naftogaz develops oil and gas fields, produces crude oil and natural gas. Its core business is also transportation and trade in fuel through its own network of filling stations.
