It is noted that imports into the trade zone of Ukraine's Integrated Power System (IPS), synchronized with the energy grids of Russia, Belarus, and Moldova, amounted to 9.2 million kWh, or 0.1% of the total electricity generation, which was 88.9% down from February 2020.

Imports into the trade zone of the Burshtynska TPP energy "island," operating synchronously with the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E), stood at 433.2 million kWh, which was 14% up from February 2020, the report said.

At the same time, in total, imports to the trade zone of Ukraine's IPS in February were limited by over 99% to ensure operational security of the power system.

What is more, Ukraine's electricity exports in March 2020 amounted to 773.6 million kWh, that is 4.5% up from the previous month. Exports have shown a steady growth trend since the beginning of the year, primarily due to an increase in electricity supplies to Hungary.
