Financial performance of Ukraine's profitable enterprises grew by 10%, to UAH 596.284 billion (US$21.9 billion).
Large- and medium-sized enterprises in Ukraine received UAH 422.235 billion, or US$15.5 billion, in profit before tax in 2019, which was 26% up from the figure reported in 2018.
Financial performance of Ukraine's profitable enterprises grew by 10%, to UAH 596.284 billion (US$21.9 billion), while that of loss-making companies shrank by 15% over the year, to minus UAH 174.050 billion (US$6.4 billion), according to the Ukrainian State Statistics Service website.
Moreover, the share of unprofitable Ukrainian enterprises remained at 21.7% reported a year earlier.

The State Statistics Service said the report does not include data from Russian-occupied areas in Crimea, Sevastopol and parts of Luhansk and Donetsk regions.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine's large- and medium-sized enterprises in 2018 boosted their profit before tax by 25%, to UAH 335 billion (US$12.3 billion).
