Ukraine's hryvnia strengthens to UAH 27.08 to U.S. dollar on April 21

The official forex rate against the euro for Tuesday is fixed at UAH 29.43 per euro.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for April 21 at UAH 27.08 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by 12 kopiykas.

The Central Bank fixed the following official forex rates of the hryvnia against key foreign currencies for April 21:

US$100 will be quoted at UAH 2,707.74 (UAH 2,720.22 as of April 17);

EUR 100 will be quoted at UAH 2,942.77 (UAH 2,963.41 as of April 17).

By 16:00 Kyiv time on April 17, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market settled at UAH 27.07/27.10 to the dollar, while those against the euro were at UAH 29.37/29.40.

The U.S. dollar at Kyiv's exchange booths on Friday morning lost 10 kopiykas in value on the average, as the rate was UAH 27.40 per U.S. dollar. The value of the euro decreased by 15 kopiykas, and the rate was UAH 29.80 per euro.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the National Bank set the official forex rate for Friday, April 17, at UAH 27.20 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency strengthen by two kopiykas. That is, the hryvnia gained in value after weakening for two consecutive days.
