Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk called for denunciation of the agreement with Russia on completion of nuclear power units at the Khmelnytskyi nuclear power plant, speaking at a government meeting.
"I propose for the government to consider a decision on denunciation of the agreement with the Russian Federation on completing construction of the third and fourth units at the Khmelnytskyi nuclear power plant. The law was adopted and the agreement ratified. The cabinet has decided to immediately denounce the agreement with the Russian Federation due to its failure to fulfill its obligations, as well as to abolish the relevant law," Yatsenyuk said.
The prime minister added that the government's decision would be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada.
