CB LLC Kuban Credit has announced the closure of its Simferopolsky branch in Kerch as of June 31, 2015, according to local news agency Novosti Kryma.
The bank's customers were notified about the closure by SMS messaging. They were offered either to close their deposit accounts or transfer them to Russian-based branches, the nearest of which is located in Temryuk, a town and the administrative center of Temryuksky District in Krasnodar Krai, Russia, located on the Taman Peninsula, the news agency reported.
On the bank’s official website, there is no announcement about the branch's closure and causes behind the decision.
Bank Kuban Credit is a regional bank in Russia, operating in Krasnodar Krai. The bank was registered in 1993.
Several Russian banks have ceased their activity in the annexed Crimea in the past year.
