Montenegro, Albania, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, as well as Ukraine and Georgia, support the extension of restrictive measures against Russia until January 31, 2016 in view of its actions destabilising the situation in Ukraine, according to the EU website.
“The Candidate Countries [to the EU] Montenegro and Albania, and the EFTA countries Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, members of the European Economic Area, as well as Ukraine and Georgia align themselves with this Declaration,” reads the statement by the EU top diplomat Federica Mogherini.
According to the press release, The European Union takes note of the commitment of mentioned states and welcomes it.
