Oil and gas giant NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine's debt on loans issued by state-run Oschadbank is estimated at UAH 20 billion, according to Oschadbank Governor Andriy Pyshny.
"[The debt] is UAH 20 billion," he said when answering a respective question from journalists.
As UNIAN reported, Naftogaz's deficit in 2014 amounted to about UAH 110 billion.
As part of the fulfillment of a memorandum with the country's key lender, the International Monetary Fund, the Ukrainian government intends to halve Naftogaz's deficit in 2015 to 3.1% of GDP, which is projected at UAH 1.85 trillion.
