Sales of new passenger cars in Ukraine in July 2015 declined by 9.8% year-over-year to 5,210 vehicles, according to the AUTO-Consulting analytical group.
However, sales of new passenger cars grew by 54.3% from June 2015.
"July demonstrated a rapid increase in the number of sold new cars against June... What is more, the current indicators are optimistic in comparison with last year's figures. Thus, a decline in translations in July year-over-year has for the first time reached 9.8%. This is almost nothing against plunges by 70-80% seen early this year," the group's experts said.
The top three leading makes on the Ukrainian mass market in July in terms of sales were such brands as Toyota, Renault, ZAZ, while premium segment leaders were BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi cars.
