The surplus of Ukraine's trade balance amounted to $2.890 billion in the first half of 2015, higher by $227.9 million, or 8.6%, as compared to the surplus of $2.662 billion in the same period last year, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
The data are presented excluding the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, as well as part of the Anti-Terrorist Operation area.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the surplus of foreign trade balance of Ukraine in 2014 amounted to $3.884 billion against the deficit of $8.514 billion recorded in 2013.
